TCS 2008 placement paper and personal experience @ RVCE

I went through placement process of TCS and got selected.
Unfortunately there were 5 rounds for us.
1) Written test
2) Technical round
3) Managerial round
4) HR
5) GD

But usually there will be no GD for TCS

1)  Written test: Getting through written test is very easy. There are 25 model question papers for TCS.32 questions on English.38 questions on quantitative and 10 questions on critical reasoning. English and Critical Reasoning will be very tough. Quantitative questions will be very easy. I had prepared quantitative questions of first 3 model papers and luckily all the quantitative questions were from those 3 question papers and for English and critical reasoning guessing will do. So I got through written test.

2) Technical Round: Technical round was also very easy. All questions were from data structures. the question that I was asked are

1) Tell me about yourself
Ans: family background, Educational qualification and extra curricular activities

9) Explain your Project.
Ans: I had done   project on file encryption and decryption using RSA algorithm. So first I explained the algorithm then I told how we implemented the algorithm.

At last they asked do you have any questions to ask.

3) Managerial round: In this round they mainly focus on time management and    leadership qualities, but they didn’t ask such questions to me. There were two persons in the panel and they were too friendly and cool. It was so funny and I enjoyed a lot. Questions that they asked are

    Tell me about yourself.
          Same thing as mentioned above.

What do you know about TCS?

7) What’s your college schedule for next week?
Ans: I told that tomorrow mindtree is coming. Schedule is up to mindtree, I don’t after that.
At last he asked do you have any questions to ask.

5) GD Round: actually TCS doesn’t have GD but requirement was less so they wanted to eliminate some more students after HR. So they conducted GD. They made a group of 8 members for GD. The topic which we got was “how relationship should be between college and IT industry”
